Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-07-29
These terms govern use of the Bastu booking platform, provided by Parti AB (559439-2317). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
They apply to the association or business using Bastu to take bookings ("the Customer"). Guests booking a session contract with that association, not with us — cancellation and refund rules are set by each association.
1. The service
Bastu is software for taking bookings, managing memberships and collecting payments. We provide it as a hosted service. Features change over time; we may add, alter or remove them, and will give reasonable notice before removing something a Customer materially relies on.
2. Accounts
The Customer is responsible for its administrator accounts, for keeping credentials secure, and for what those accounts do. Tell us promptly at hej@parti.design if you suspect misuse.
3. Fees
Subscription fees and any transaction fees are those agreed at sign-up or in a written offer. Fees are stated excluding VAT unless said otherwise. Payment-processing fees are charged separately by Stripe under its own agreement with the Customer.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing period. If the Customer does not accept a change, it may terminate before that period begins.
4. Payments to the Customer
Guest payments are processed through the Customer's own Stripe account. Funds go directly to the Customer; we never hold them. Stripe's terms, verification requirements and payout schedule apply, and are outside our control.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, or to store unlawful content.
- Do not attempt to breach security, access other customers' data, or disrupt the service.
- Do not resell or sublicense the service without written agreement.
- Do not use automated access in a way that degrades the service for others.
We may suspend an account that puts the platform or other customers at risk, and will explain why.
6. Customer data
Data the Customer puts into Bastu remains the Customer's. We process it to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. For personal data about members and guests the Customer is the controller and we are a processor.
On termination the Customer may request an export of its data. We keep what accounting law requires and delete the rest within a reasonable period.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where practical. We are not liable for downtime caused by third parties such as hosting providers, Stripe or email delivery, or by events beyond our control.
8. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees the Customer paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or lost bookings.
Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Term and termination
Subscriptions run for the agreed period and renew unless cancelled before renewal. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of written notice. We may terminate immediately for serious misuse under section 5.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email or in the admin dashboard at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Sverige / Sweden. Disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts, with Umea tingsratt as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
